Galactic: Part III and IV

Part III: The Beginning of the Magic-verse

I need to go back to Magic World. I need to learn more about Wizards and their history. Was Caz a wizard? Aster thought as his ship hovered in space. He warped the ship to the Magic System.

He later landed the ship behind the museum.

He walked in and bought a ticket. The tour group walked by and he followed them.

“And over here is where we’ll start. In the Magic-verse history exhibit,” the female tour guide pointed her hand toward the aforementioned room.

The group walked into the room.

“And this is where it all began. This is the book, the legend of Ben and Ann. Legend has it on another magical planet in another universe, Ben and Ann kissed, their planet imploded, and dozens of portals opened to bring magic to the multiverse.” She walked over to the next artifact. “And here is an animated re-enactment of what we thought happened.”

A small screen on the wall showed a teenage boy and girl kiss, then it zoomed out to the planet imploding and portals opening to bring the chunks of the planet to different universes.

“Next-”

“So, that’s how it happened.”

Suddenly, a man in a metal suit ran through the exhibit. “That’s not how it happened!” He removed his helmet.

“It’s Ben! It’s Ben!” the tour group shouted in excitement.

“Yes, it’s me and that’s not how it happened. Before the planet imploded, a time traveler gave me this space and time watch. I traveled from universe to universe to show and tell the magical planets how to use magic.”

“What are you doing here now? We already know how to use magic,” the tour guide said.

“Wait, is this Universe 23?”

“No, this is Universe 1.”

“Oh, sorry.” Ben disappeared.

“Let’s continue the tour after that meeting with the famous Ben. Next is the hall of Kings and Queens of Magic World,” the tour guide said.

Aster followed the group into the hall.

“As all of you know, when Wizard World’s magic core was depleted, the planet imploded. So, we found another planet in the Magic System. Our first King was King-”

Aster’s Vex beeped.

“As I said earlier, please turn off or silence all devices.”

Aster walked out of the exhibit and answered his Vex.

“What is it, Mr. Majester? I’m kind of busy right now.”

“I have another mission for you. Come back to earth, Sabina is waiting here for you.”

Aster shook his head. “I’ll be right there.”

Part IV: The Continuance of the Magic-verse

Aster returned to earth from Magic World.

He set his face in front of the facial recognition camera and was dropped into the tubes to the underground base.

“What’s the mission, Mr. Majester?”

“I need you two to go to Mars and visit their governor, Debra Maverick.”

“On it,” Sabina said as tugged at Aster’s shoulder and teleported him.

She teleported him to the center star (the center of the five cities) of the domed inter-city state of Mars.

Debra greeted them. “Welcome to Mars.”

“What seems to be the problem, Ms. Maverick?” Sabina asked.

“Please call me Debra.”

“Okay, Debra, what do you need help with?”

“There’s an infestation of time traveling rats on my home planet, Planet Z and when they bite you, they sent you to a different time period.”

“What do you want us to do about them?” Aster questioned.

“Kill them. Do what you have to-just get rid of them. I can’t get rid of them since I’m so busy here.”

“We understand and we’re on it.”

Sabina teleported Aster to the Planet Z or Anti-Magic World. Rats with collars around their necks bit anti-wizards and transported them to other parts of the timeline.

Aster used his earthquake boots and created cracks and holes in the pavement. A few of the rats fell through the holes.

“Wait, we need to capture one and find out who’s behind this,” Sabina suggested.

“Right, and how are we gonna do that?”

“Leave it to me.” Sabina summoned her whip from her Vox. She swung her whip in the air and wrapped it around a rat. It bit her hand and nothing happened. “I’m impervious to time travel creature bites since I can time travel.”

“You can? Why didn’t you tell me?”

“You never asked.”

“Well, can you take me back to when the rats were first released?”

“Sure, I just have to-” Sabina adjusted her Vox and pressed some buttons. She grabbed Aster’s arm and ran backward.

They were taken to a few days ago.

“Look, it’s the Time Zookeeper. I’ve read about him. He traps time-traveling animals from around the universe and releases them to wreak havoc.”

They ran toward and he disappeared before they could reach him.

“Now what?” Aster asked Sabina.

“We try this again.” Sabina grabbed Aster’s wrist and pulled him to a few minutes ago.

This time they traveled behind the Time Zookeeper. Aster jumped over him and froze the crate shut with his freeze ray. Sabina wrapped her whip around him.

“You’re going to time jail!” Sabina shouted

“You caught me, but how?” the Time Zookeeper asked.

“Time travel.”

“Well, regular jail, with a cell that blocks your powers so you can’t escape.”

Sabina sent them back to a few days in the future and the Time Zookeeper was sent to the prison moon orbiting Magic World.
