Aster and Sabina were called to the Moon Base.

Sabina teleported Aster into the Moon Base’s control room.

“What is it, Mr. Majester?” Sabina asked.

“An alien escaped in the basement of this base and I need you two to find it, capture it, and put it back in its cell.”

“We’re on it-”

“No, teleporting. The alien can sense teleporters. Just take the elevator.”

“Fine.” Sabina pressed the down arrow and they waited for the elevator.

After a few minutes, The elevator doors opened and they walked in. Sabina pressed the “B” button for the basement.

The elevator doors opened and they walked out. The creature ran past them. Sabina tried to capture it with her whip, but she snapped the floor instead.

The creature ran through a rusted hole in the wall. Sabina set her hand on the scanner. “Access denied. Please scan Vox.”

“Vox? I have a V.0.” She set her V.0 in front of the scanner, but it said, “Access denied. Old DNA recognized as Sabina Arstar, old Orbital. Access denied.”

“You were an Orbital? I’ve heard about them. They were the old galactic superhero team, right?”

“I was and yes. The Orbitals disbanded in the early 3000s after Buddy retired. Then the Galactions were created.”

“Let me try.” Aster hovered his Vax over the scanner.

“It’s not going to-”

“DNA recognized. Access granted. Welcome, descendent of King Correy, Aster Pelle.”

They walked in.

“You’re a descendant of King Correy? The old king of earth and later the king of the Magic-verse?”

“I guess so.”

“Welcome, Aster. I am at your command.”

“Alright, Computer. Show me video of the loose alien.”

A screen popped up and onto the wall. It showed the alien in the next room over.

“Computer take me to the next room.”

A doorway opened to the next room and they walked in.

“Computer, lights on.”

“Voice not recognized. Please try again.”

Aster repeated the phrase but more slowly.

“Voice not recognized.”

Aster turned the flashlight on his Vax. “Look, it’s running into the next room.”

Sabina teleported them into the next room, but the creature morphed into a gigantic mutant rat.

Aster froze it with his freeze ray, but it broke free.

“Don’t let it bite you. It might be like one of those time rats we fought on Planet Z,” Aster warned.

The rat spat acid in Sabina’s direction, but she dodged the shot.

Suddenly, the rat transformed into its original form and disappeared.

“Where did it go? Sabina asked.

“It must have gone to the next room,” Aster replied.

They exited the room and walked back into the hall. Aster scanned his Vax and the door opened.

The rat morphed back into a mutant and set its paw on the wall access panel. “Access denied. Please enter access code.”

“You don’t know the code,” Aster said.

The mutant entered the code meticulously with its toes or right paws fingers.

“Or maybe it does,” Sabina responded.

The rat entered Debra’s old room and punched the glass holding Debra’s old orbital weapon, the shapeshifting crown. It stole it and alarms went off. Robot arms pushed out of the walls and pulled the mutated creature to the floor.

“Looks like the security system still works,” Sabina said as she took back Debra’s crown. “I’ll put this someone safe.” She teleported it to the earth base.

“And I’ll bring this rat to Magic World’s Moon Prison,” Aster continued.

“I can just teleport it there.”

“No, I need to visit Magic World anyway.”

“Alright.”
