Intergalactic: Part 10: Finale
Another year passed and a spaceship landed in downtown Manch City, Devra’s hometown.
Dr. Amino walked out of the ship. “I’m back. Did you miss me?”
Devra and Aster rushed downtown once Devra got the call that a spaceship was spotted landing there.
“Dr. Amino? On earth? What a change of place,” Devra said with exasperation.
Dr. Amino blasted a hovering streetlight and it turned into its liquid components.
Devra immediately pulled out her freeze ray, but Dr. Amino was prepared. He zapped her ray gun.
“It’s okay, we’ve beaten him once and we can do it again,” Aster reminded Devra
“We defeated your little friend a year ago. What do you have left to gain, Amino?” Devra asked.
“To defeat you two!” Dr. Amino shouted as he pushed out his hands and blasted them.
Devra and Aster dodged the blast.
Devra pulled out her matter ray. She had been working on it for a few months. It can turn any piece of matter, even a human, into a liquid, solid, or gas. She zapped Dr. Amino with the liquid setting and he ran. He used his new hyper-jump boots to hop to the top of the tallest building.
Devra removed her retracted hoverboard from her backpack and jumped on it as it expanded. Aster followed.
Devra switched her matter ray to gas and zapped Dr. Amino. She missed and turned objects into gasses, a window, car keys, a traffic light.
“Sorry,” she shouted from above to the people she misfortuned. She switched the ray back to liquid.
Dr. Amino jumped down since he ran out of tall buildings. He ran and switched his boot to hyper-speed.
Devra and Aster flew down to the ground and landed.
“How are we gonna catch him now?” Aster asked Devra.
“I don’t know.”
They regrouped at the Galaticon’s earth base under City Hall.
“Where’s Amino?” Mr. Majester asked Devra.
“He got away.”
“He’s got some new advanced boots,” Aster replied.
“What kind of boots?”
“Boots that can make the wearer jump super high and run super fast.”
“Where’s Amino now?”
“Downtown or in the next city?” Devra said with unsureness.
“Well, go-”
“Sightings of super fast doctor in Everhill. He appears to be liquifying objects. All nearby galacticons come quick!” a female voice emitted from Devra’s badge.
“We’re on it, Mr. Majester,” Devra said.
“You two better take these new faster hoverbikes.”
“Thanks again.”
“We’ll catch him this time.”
Devra and Aster rode their hoverbikes to downtown Everhill. They parked near the Everhill City Hall.
Dr. Amino stopped liquifying a tree. “Devra and Aster, you’ve finally caught up with me.”
“It’s time to end your rain of terror, Amino!” Aster shouted, liquifying gun in hand. He blasted at Amino, but he dodged every shot.
“It’s Doctor Amino.”
“Whatever.”
“You know, I’ve tried my powers on a human. I wonder what would–” Dr. Amino zapped Aster.
Devra jumped in front of him. She was turned into ice and her body fell onto the pavement. Her body in shards, unable to recover like Mimicry.
Aster shouted “No!” as she was the only partner he had or knew. He picked up her pieces and put them in his backpack. He froze Dr. Amino in his time of shock.
He walked back to Galaticons Headquarters.
